Concept Study 002

The Recognition Edit for a Creative Agency.

A milestone experience designed to honor tenure with intention — not a certificate in an envelope.

The Brief

Imagine a creative agency where the work is thoughtful but the recognition program is generic. We designed a tiered anniversary edit that treats the moment the way the studio treats its craft: personal, considered, and worth photographing.

Moodboard

Dusty blue and deep navy carry the tone, softened by a warm ivory ground and a note of dried lavender. The materials skew architectural — heavy paper, a small ceramic vessel, brushed metal — so the object feels made rather than sourced.

Packaging

A deep navy rigid box tied with an ivory ribbon and finished with a small gold wax seal. The presentation is deliberate: the recipient opens it slowly. The box itself becomes a small archive — a place to keep the note and the years that follow.

The Card

"Three years in, and the studio is better because of you. Thank you for the work you've made and the way you make it."

A personal note from the studio lead, printed in the studio's typeface and signed by hand.

Inside the Edit
  • 01

    Milestone-numbered ceramic object

WhyThe year appears once, small, on the base. It marks the moment without turning the object into a trophy.

  • 02

    Hand-poured candle

WhyA ritual for the desk or the home. Chosen for a scent that lasts and doesn't shout.

  • 03

    Handwritten anniversary note

WhyA personal message from the studio lead, written in navy ink on a folded ivory card. The handwriting signals that this moment was considered, not automated.

  • 04

    Artisan chocolate

WhyA small, considered indulgence — because recognition should feel like a treat, not a transaction.

Why it works

Anniversaries are one of the few moments a company gets to say 'you matter' with time and craft. Treated with intention, they become a visible expression of how the studio values its people — and something employees actually want to share.
